Violence: War, Genocide, Torture & Terrorism

Violence has no place in a civil society.  It would be wonderful if we were taught at early ages how to manage our emotions and relationships in such a way that violence was unimaginable.  But today, violence is a regular part of many people’s everyday lives.  It could be through regional conflicts, wars, terrorist activities, and through torture and genocide.  This course looks at these types of violence from a human rights lens.
