Mental Health as a Human Right

Our mental health is a combination of genetics, environment (social and physical), relationships, and is impacted by the availability, accessibility and affordability of services.  The saying that “sticks and stones will break my bones but words will never hurt me” is a lie.  Words and actions do hurt us – “words cut  as sharp as a knife”.  Mental health is fundamental to our physical and social wellbeing.  What does HRE say about it?  Find out here.
